The decision was made to consolidate a multi-supplier Clinical Operations workforce into a single-supplier, managed solution to increase retention and promote efficiencies in training, communication, and professional development.

The challenge:

  • Vita Global Sciences offered a consultative talent advisory service, talent supply chain management for highly specialized Clinical Operations talent, and efficient operational implementation
  • VGS worked to restructure roles, establish a more collaborative working environment, and leverage the VGS talent supply chain to fill a backlog of open positions.
  • VGS provided additional training to cover other aspects of working in virtual teams
  • Projects are managed through Resource Allocation Tracking (RAT) reports, internal VGS resourcing system, and governance programs
  • Selected KPIs track: talent acquisition cycle times, talent retention, operational and customer satisfaction perspectives

The solution:

  • The FSP program is fully operational and has matured since 2014. (Current team consists of 68 staff members)
  • Next to Clinical Research Associates, we have diversified the team with in-house Clinical Trial Coordinators, Regulatory resources and Clinical Research Scientists.
  • All VGS FSP resources work in client systems and follow client SOPs
  • We have daily interactions with client stakeholders, weekly Program Management meetings, weekly project resourcing meetings and regular VGS services feedback meetings as part of our Governance Structure
  • The FSP is fully-compliant with the client’s legal requirements
